Strictly Come Dancing’s Pixie Lott didn’t seem to mind the freezing temperatures in London earlier today, stepping out in a gorgeous skin-baring mini dress.

Determined to still flash the flesh despite it being pretty chilly outside, Pixie ditched her winter warmers and opted for something a little more revealing instead.

On a radio promo trip for her new single ‘Caravan of Love’, Pixie made her way around the capital wearing a stylish red and black checked mini dress.

Putting her pins on display in her thigh-grazing number, the 23-year-old finished off her look with a pair of patent knee-high boots and a slick of red lippie.

Her trip up town comes after Pixie released her greatest hits album, Platinum Pixie.

The album includes a number of the starlet’s old hits as well as two brand new songs, including her latest single.

To celebrate her new release, earlier this week Pixie put on a secret gig for her fans in swanky Chelsea hotspot Under The Bridge.

On the night, she performed her favourite tracks for a crowd that included a few celebrity faces, such as Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall and dancer Danielle Peazer. And after taking to the stage, Pixie made sure to thank the girls for coming!

In two separate tweets to her pals, she said: “You rock Jade @LittleMix Thanks so much for coming! Def see you soon.”

“Thanks so much for coming Dani @DaniellePeazer, I can’t go back to that venue without you now!! see you soon and lots of [love],” she added.

As well as focusing on her new music lately, Pixie has also been busy practicing her new routine for Strictly Come Dancing.

Talk about a packed out schedule!

Over the weekend, the blonde beauty dazzled the judges with her performance of the Charleston and found herself joint first on the leaderboard alongside Blue singer Simon Webbe.

As they both sailed through to next week, sadly wildlife TV presenter Steve Backshall was the eighth celebrity to leave Strictly after being voted out by the judges.

If you love the textured looks, keep in mind that hair with highlights and lowlights will give more dimension to the style, said Soleimani, while monochromatic hair colors work best with sleeker hairdos.

Any type of hair looks great in an updo, said Ludwig, but if your tresses are fine or thin, updos also have the advantage of creating the effect of thicker, fuller hair that you probably couldn’t achieve if you wore your hair down. In addition, they’re equally appropriate and practical for indoor and (hot, humid, windy) outdoor events, and with proper products and pinning, you can hit the dance floor for hours without fretting about your ’do going limp.

Updo’s won’t obstruct any aspect of your dress, so feel free to pick an on-trend bateau neckline or glitzy back details. But if the gown is big and features lots of flourishes, stick to simpler hairstyles – you don’t want to look overdone and the point of a showstopper dress is that it’s the center of attention.
